The SAP Basis Specialist position is full time and permanent, based in athens' northern suburbs. Remote work may be provided.

As a SAP Basis Specialist, you will join a team of experienced IT professionals with very good technical skills. Your main responsibilities will be the following: 

• Configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment.
• Implementing and maintaining the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test and production)
• Maintaining the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly
• Introducing technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance
• Installing and configuring all required SAP database servers and application servers
• Developing and maintaining system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.
• Perform User Access Management including authorization and access control management in advanced authorization level including user security.
• Perform Transport Management System requests and customize relevant settings accordingly.
• Monitor System Logs and background processing, systems, printers and obtain System Dumps if needed.
• Monitor HANA HA/DR systems.

For this SAP Basis Specialist position, you need to have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in SAP Basis & in SAP Authorization Security.
• Knowledge of multiple SAP Products, OS platforms and database.
• Thorough knowledge of S4/HANA and HANA Platform.
• Experience in performing monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of SAP environments.
• Good Unix/Linux Administration skills.
• SAP Basis Administration skills.
• Experience with Fiori.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
