Are you a Sales Manager with experience in the Freight Forwarding sector?

As a Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage company's commercial activity, in order to meet sales, profit, regulatory compliance, operational excellence and business development 
  • Monitor the market environment and the trends in the local market in order to evaluate business opportunities and risks
  • Set goals, develop competencies and lead the Sales team
  • Define with upper management the type and specifications of the services to be acquired and/or delivered, monitoring costs and service levels
  • Financial reporting, budgeting, planning and execution
  • Drive and contribute to successful implementation of various projects aiming at business growth and efficiency
  • Implementation and control of sales working procedures and standards


The ideal candidate for the position of Sales Manager will be expected to possess the following:

  • 5-10 years of professional experience as a Sales Manager in the Freight Forwarding industry; priority will be given to candidates with experience in the freight forwarding sector, but experience in shipping or transport sectors will also be considered
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics or relevant field
  • Strong capacity to synthesize and structure market information to liaise with top management
  • Fluency in English language
  • Master's degree will be considered a plus (MBA)
  • Experienced user of MS Office
  • Management experience including P&L responsibility
  • Ability to build, lead and motivate a team
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to negotiate with a variety of partners on the market 
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to think strategically and analyze, review, develop, and implement action plans
  • Strong drive to create new business opportunities
