    The Sales Manager will be responsible for:

    • Responsible for the sale of products in a defined geographical territory/area and for the development and execution of sales plans, targets and budgets within the overall business sales strategy
    • Responsible for supporting sales professionals in the management of client relationships and in the negotiation of contracts with customers
    • Responsible for building territory/area sales capability and for the overall management and motivation of the territory/area sales team
    • Ensure the operation is according to company mission & vision by monitoring  company related applications
    • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team
    • Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization
    • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for the territory/area
    • Coach sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organisation’s products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.
    • Pursue major prospects and lead major negotiations
    • Monitor the performance of the sales teams and re-allocate resources to improve overall results 
    • Manage the cost of sales for customers allocated to the sales clusters
    • Adhere to agreed pricing policies, monitor profitability against targets, manage price re-negotiation
    • Contribute to the setting of the cost and revenue budget to ensure planned growth reflects market potential
    • Ensure proper usage of sales support processes and tools to ensure sales force effectiveness


      The Sales Manager should obtain:

      • 3-8 years of relevant experience in sales function with leadership responsibility within business services or technology or logistics/forwarding sector
      • University Degree in Business Administration or relevant; MSc will be considered an asset
      • Manages and leads team through expertise in most or all areas within field sales
      • Maintains effective relationships with customers and focuses on customer needs and gains their commitment
      • Excellent Engish or any other third language
      • Experienced user of MS Office package
      • Ability to build, lead and motivate a team
      • Ability to drive and install change
      • Continuous improvement and innovation
      • Dynamic and ambitious personality 
      • Inspirational, empowered, accountabile, highly self-motivated
      • Inspires others to develop themselves
      • Conveys a clear sense of personal goals and values
