Are you a Sales Manager with experience in the Heavy Industry?

Do you have the drive and enthusiasm to lead a sales team and apply strategical and innovative thinking?

This is an exciting opportunity within a leading multinational organisation.


  • Manage the execution of the Business Plan, in order to meet sales, profit, days sales outstanding, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, business development and SHEQ objectives.
  • Monitor the environment and the trends in the local market in order to evaluate business opportunities and risks. Network with key actors
  • Set goals, develop competencies and lead the Sales team
  • Define with functional county managers the type and specifications of products and services to be acquired and/or delivered from/to them, monitoring costs and service levels
  • Financial reporting, budgeting, planning and execution
  • Drive and contribute to successful implementation of vatious projects aiming at business growth and efficiency
  • Implementation and control of sales working procedures and standards 
  • Manage change towards high performance new ways of doing and behaving in the organisation
  • Demonstrate a clear personal commitment to the SHEQ policy and always comply with SHEQ requirements and the Golden Rules of safety
  • Ensure that the SHEQ Policy is known and understood by all personnel and the principles and procedures are followed
  • Ensure that the status of plants and the operations are in compliance with authority permissions, legal requirements and company standards
  • Ensure that accidents and incidents are reported according to corporate, regional and local standards are investigated and appropriate measures are taken to avoid repetition
  • Comply with local legislation regarding Health and Safety and report to relevant authorities any Health or Safety incident

προσόντα

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably Engineering
  • Master's degree will be considered a plus
  • 5-10 years commercial experience, at least 5 there of as a manager in heavy industry orgnaisations
  • Fluent in English
  • Experienced user of MS Office package
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Ability to build, lead and motivate a team
  • Ability to drive and install change
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to negotiate with a variety of partners on the market of all sizes and backgrounds
  • Management experience including P&L responsibility
  • Strong business sense
  • Analytical skills, understanding of key revenue and cost drivers
  • Ability to think strategically and analyze, review, develop, and implement action plans
  • Ability to work under pressure, overflow of information and tight deadlines requiring strong prioritization/organisation skills
  • Ability to think out of the box to come up with new ideas and concepts
  • Strong drive to create new business as opposed to only administer the existing business
