As a Sales Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead all sales and business development activities in a global scale
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve agreed targets
  • Inform commercial plan within segments and geographies of focus
  • Define, execute and effectively communicate the sales strategy and operation plans
  • Deliver top line sales growth new and existing partnerships
  • Identify new commercial opportunities to increase revenue on a global market
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement
  • Partner with customers to understand their business objectives and maximize sales performance
  • Evaluate market research, competitor and customer surveys and execute strategies in line with evaluations
  • Negotiate, manage, renew and review contracts as required to enable effective trading, operations and customer/supplier relations
  • Maximizing company profit, set and deliver forecast, and achieve annual sales targets
  • Lead, motivate and develop an International Sales team to create a customer centric high performing team
  • Establish sales objectives for the Sales team by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven landscape


The ideal candidate for the position of Sales Director will be expected to possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, with solid demonstrable track record in International sales
  • Previous experience successfully managing sales teams ideally from a manufacturing industry
  • Significant technology aptitude and demonstrated competence in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities, influencer and negotiator
  • People-oriented individual, with proven prospect and customer management skills
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Motivation, self-confidence and honesty
  • Ability to travel within sales territory and occasionally elsewhere
  • Entrepreneurial mindset backed by a thorough understanding of the legal and financial aspects of the business
  • Able to prioritize workload for self and direct reports in order to maximize profit
  • Able to take the lead in high value commercial negotiations and/or guide team where necessary
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to business plans
