As a Retail Manager you will need

  • To achieve all Key Performance Indicators through Area Manager(s) in Company Stores and Sub Franchisees (where applicable)
  • To analyse business results and trends with Area Manager(s) and take timely and appropriate action to drive sales and profitability
  • To give input in the development of selling strategies and incentives
  • To be responsible for developing outstanding customer service within the market
  • To develop budget plans with Area Manager(s) and Market teams
  • To understand segmentation within the market and work through appropriate channels to ensure the product mix is competitively positioned
  • To communicate regularly with Head Office identifying problems or opportunities
  • To continually analyse shop performance compared to expectation, company trends, and competitive position. KPIs per store/ area > through Area Manager(s) reports an own synthesis
  • To work closely with the market HR team and Area Manager(s) to implement the people plan in line with current employee legislation, company policies and procedures.
  • To maintain consistent, uncompromising, high standards for presentation, Point of Sale material and promotions and company property and assets
  • To ensure all administration, including payroll, is compliant with company policies and procedures
  • To control payroll within established guidelines.
  • To maintain and control controllable expenses to maximise profits in each store


In order for your profile to match this Retail Manager position you need to have the following skills:

  • Proven successful track record in delivering service, sales and profit expectations at field level
  • Commercial back ground
  • Educated to degree level
  • 6 years field line management experience, preferably in the Retail (cosmetic)
  • Proven people management, communication and leadership skills
  • Exceptional planning and organising skills
