The Production Applications Manager is responsible for providing high level technical support to customers and the sales and service team on a national basis and supporting the introduction and roll out of new technologies and applications. The role reports to the Application Service Manager and have interaction with the Food and Beverage Division Manager. 

  • Provide total technical support to customers and salesforce.
  • Analyse and answer application specific customer questions.
  • Contribute to the optimization of customers processes.
  • Provide solutions to ad hoc customer problems (troubleshooting).
  • Build up and maintain contacts to external service suppliers, and other relevant external partners.
  • Deliver field / lab experiments pilot trials and long field trials to validate results and solutions of Product Development e.g. hygiene solutions.
  • Operate within and actively promote quality and safety guidelines Responsible to prepare technical marketing material which facilitate local sales process.
  • Responsible to keep updated technical databases and sharepoints and be able to create new ones when is necessary.
  • Carry out technical training for customers, OEM’s and internal departments.
  • Responsible to be in direct contact and collaboration with Region South  and Europe Field Service Team, Marketing and R&D.

  • University Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
  • 3-5 years previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment is highly desired.
  • Capacity to integrate and interact with different disciplines (Engineering, Regulatory, Production, QA, Logistics, etc.) and levels (managerial, professional and hourly).
  • Must be able to work independently, to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Analytical skills and detail oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ownership and capacity to make decisions.
  • High regards for safety.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language. 
  • Flexibility for Business travel (50% of time). 
  • Advanced Computer literacy (Ms Office- especially PowerPoint & Excel, Internet, Web based tools etc.).
