We have recently established a strategic and long-term partnership with Alpha Bank in the payments acceptance space in the Greek market enabling Alpha Bank, through its widespread network of over 300 branches across Greece, to promote and distribute to its customers Nexi-developed technological and innovative solutions.

For our newly launched joint venture with Alpha Bank, we are seeking now to employ an operational AML officer!

αρμοδιότητες

As an operational AML officer at Nexi Group your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the implementation of the AML regulations and execution of second level operational controls (AML test plan)
  • Definition and review of processes with writing of requirements towards IT where necessary
  • Definition and review of anomaly / customer profiling indicators in relation to AML
  • Monitoring and execution of authorization processes for opening and maintaining relationships with high risk customers (eg. connections to High Risk Countries, Politically exposed person)
  • Execution of Enhanced Adequate Verification practices on customers with a high risk of money laundering
  • Execution of Suspicious Transaction Reporting Practices for AML purposes and sending them after approval by the SOS Delegate
  • Transactional monitoring by analyzing personal and transactional data to identify phenomena related to money laundering
  • Management of customer records for AML purposes in terms of completeness and accuracy of data with management / execution of data recovery and / or customer contact processes for updating them over time
  • Management of information flows to national authorities / other group companies

προσόντα

In order for your profile to match the operational AML officer position at Nexi Group, you need to have the following skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, law, economics, or a related business discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Italian language will be considered as an asset)
  • Understanding of the financial and regulatory landscape, and of relevant risk management strategies
  • Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information; Competent in understanding and interpret documents such as government regulations, internal controls, and instruction manuals
  • At least 3 years in a similar position in the anti-money laundering functions of banks or financial intermediaries
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products with specialty in Excel
