αρμοδιότητες

As a Marine Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell product and services
  • Analyze and understand market insights and the customer buying behavior
  • Create sales plans according to business division strategy and targets
  • Be active in the market and focus on inside customer interactions physically or virtually
  • Focus on customer needs, understanding and delivery of our products and services.
  • Develop complex and value quotes reflecting the customers’ needs
  • Handles complaints, settles disputes, and resolves grievances and conflicts
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish daily work
  • Maintains attention to detail in completing work tasks 
  • Requires a willingness to take on added responsibilities and challenges
  • Works independently, guides oneself with little or no supervision
  • Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others with the ability to convey information effectively.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Understanding of marine engine room applications
  • Competencies to work with computers and computer systems ((i.e. Microsoft Office) entering data, and or process information in company’s CRM system.

προσόντα

The ideal candidate for the position of a Marine Sales Engineer will be expected to possess the following:

  • BSc in Mechanical or Marine Engineering and an MSc related to the industry/business
  • 2-5 years of practical experience in external sales in marine equipment or spares preferably in a multinational environment
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic account planning
  • Knowledge of marine engine room and their applications
  • Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office)
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • High energy with high level of self-initiative and strong sense of urgency. Ability to multitask
  • High integrity
