Are you an experienced Key Account Manager? Do you believe in building solid-ground commercial collaborations? Are you a proactive sales professional with a keen eye for identifying sales opportunities?

The Key Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day direct sales activities, with regards to the acquisition, management and communication of Large Corporate and Business Customers in the MV and LV markets. More specifically he or she:

  • Implements the sales strategy through direct channels for the Large Corporate and Business Customers segments
  • Pursues and achieves Direct Sales targets, optimizing the allocation of assigned resources
  • Participates with all necessary inputs in the company’s budget formulation, especially with regard to fixed costs, for the Direct Sales Function
  • Develops plans for key direct sales prospects segment and identifies new sales opportunities within existing accounts
  • Monitors sales statistics and reports on status of pending contracts
  • Responsible for the efficient communication between Sales with Large Corporate and Business Customers targeted, prior to acquisition (performance of customer initial contacts, request of the necessary documentation for the customer acceptance, negotiation/selection of appropriate products
  • Responsible for the preparation of full documentation material during customer acquisition (from sales to final contract signing) through direct sales channels
  • Responsible for the assigned to him/her key account management after acquisition, planning and for managing the full relationship between the company and these key customers
  • Responsible for the negotiation of offers created by the Marketing Pricing & Portfolio Management Function concerning direct sales, taking into considerations company sales strategy and targets, as well as the customer’s specific characteristics
  • Responsible for proactive contract management, including the provision of follow-ups on all contracts (e.g. monitoring of expiry dates concerning contracts and guarantees, price and guarantee updates)
  • Responsible for the efficient interaction with the company’s Large Corporate and Business Customers regarding any customers complaints or requests for information, changes in contracts, contract renewals 
  • Interfaces with the appropriate Function of the Customer Operations Department, with regards to the effective management of customer complaints/requests


  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or relevant discipline (preferably at postgraduate level)
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the utilities sector 
  • Working commercial experience in a regulated environment
  • A good overall understanding of the energy industry, trends and products
  • A proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership & people management skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
