As a Java Back-end Developer you will join a team of experienced developers and your duties will be the following:

• Design and build innovative search technologies
• Challenge and redefine existing architectural fundamentals in order to provide 
• Build and maintain search functionalities
• Develop, configure and optimize the query pipelines and associated algorithms for better search results and its ranking.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. And come up with good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for acquiring scalable solutions.

προσόντα

What you need to have for this Java Backend Developer position:

• Strong Java development skills
• Good Understanding of Information Retrieval and Search systems
• Experience working on search using Lucene, Solr, Elasticsearch, or any other search infrastructure
• Familiarity with core concepts of NLP and/or strong desire to learn approaches that power large scale linguistic search
• Experience with TDD, BDD and Agile Software Development
• Experience in a source control system (preferably Git)
• Basic understanding of Unix
• Very good knowledge of English
