Are you a motivated Human Resources professional ready to contribute to the key functions of an organization? Do you have experience as Senior HR Generalist, handling the HR operations, procedures and organizational programs? Do you want to be in a position with direct contact with management with the opportunity to influence key decisions? Are you interested in the personal development of the people within an organization? Then, we have the right opportunity for you, as Senior HR Generalist, in our client, a well-known company in the financial services sector. This is an 1 year fixed term assignment.


As a Senior HR Generalist, you will:

  • Contribute to the personal and professional development of the organization’s personnel, which involves employee orientation, development and training
  • Identifying training and development needs considering the costs of planned programs and keeping within budget
  • Assess business unit’s HR training needs and conduct training sessions
  • Evaluate and coordinate Learning and Development programs
  • Be involved in performance management working closely with senior management within the organization
  • Manage internal communication through several channels, such as a staff intranet to establish organizational messages and keep staff informed on developments
  • Coordinate new hire orientation: ensure new employees complete required forms, explain company policies and benefits
  • Coordinate induction process
  • Maintain up to date employee files and archives
  • Propose action plans and participate in their follow through
  • Collect information and prepare reports for month-end figures and follow up indicators
  • Work with line managers to develop and implement HR plans and solutions
  • Participate in organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment
  • Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues
  • Manage annual HR processes, salary & bonus review, appraisals etc
  • Drive Talent & Development processes such as succession planning and development programs
  • Assist on annual budget preparation 
  • Compensation and benefit administration and reporting 
  • Undertake tasks on performance management 
  • Assist Talent Team Coordinator in performance management procedures
  • Conduct interviews 
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like engagement surveys 
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations


In order to be eligible for the Senior HR Generalist role you need to have:

  • Bachelor degree from a university in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management or MBA, will be consider an asset
  • 4-5 years of experience in HR Generalist positions
  • Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek)
  • Extremely well organized and methodical in problem solving and managing filing/database system
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Adaptability and agility to change
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and HRS systems
  • Employee relations experience
  • Understanding of general HR policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of employment / labor laws is a plus
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
