Would you be interested to make your next career step as a Head of ICT and Digital Transformation and work with a well established company in the Financial Services sector? We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, well experienced professional, that will lead our client's Digital Transformation and ICT department.


The Head of ICT and Digital Transformation will be offered a competitive remuneration and benefits package, according to experience and skill set.


Reporting to the CEO/ BoD, the Head of ICT and Digital Transformation will lead the strategic development, transformational change and operational management of the ICT function and the overall digital capabilities of the company. More specifically, the responsibilities will include:

  • Developing programs to implement transformational change which will enable the organisation to deliver innovative and competitive fintech products and services 
  • Providing thought leadership, define, and implement the group’s digital strategy in line with organisational objectives and priorities
  • Creating and supporting an environment of digital innovation and best practice, ensuring the use of technologies for the benefit of stakeholders; driving the design, implementation and delivery of new systems, technologies and services
  • Creating and embedding a prioritisation approach to develop a roadmap for fintech innovation, as well as tools to support business objectives and new growth opportunities


Role requirements for the Head of ICT and Digital Transformation:

  • Hands-on experience of designing, owning and evaluating organisational transformations and delivering large scale change that adds value 
  • Proven experience of providing strategic and technical leadership to financial organisations (banks, payment institutions, payment schemes, etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of the contemporary digital landscape of financial organisations and/ or fintech companies and experience of bringing leading technology and process optimisation practices to an organisation to deliver growth and to drive sustainable improvements in business performance
  • Experience of working at Director level in complex organisations leading on digital and financial services, as well as in networking with similar organizations in the banking/ card/ e-commerce industries
  • Programme management qualification, experience of robustly managing large budgets and have built processes and people teams 
  • Proven experience in managing IT teams and inside and outside the organization (outsourcing)

Key experience/ knowledge/ skills:

  • At least 7 years’ experience managing ICT teams
  • Proven track record of innovative ICT solution provision and implementation in the financial services sector
  • Understanding and passion for new technologies and their use in financial services (AI, Machine learning, Blockchain, RegTech, etc)
  • Experience of developing and implementing ICT strategies, including experience of budgeting and managing budgets
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Computer Science; MBA or Master in Finance will be considered as a key asset
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels inside and outside the organization
