As IMERY's trusted partner, Randstad is seeking to recruit specialized accountants (GL, AP, AR) for this new SSC organization.

Do you have experience in general ledger accounting and reporting? Then this general ledger team leader in accounting position is waiting for you. We are looking for a general ledger team leader in accounting to join the Shared Services Center (SSC) team of IMERYS. The position is full time and permanent, based in Athens.

    αρμοδιότητες

    As a general ledger team leader in accounting at IMERYS your responsibilities will include:

    • Full accountability for all balance sheet reconciliations
    • Support to the preparation of statutory accounts
    • Ensure month end is closed and consolidated
    • Ensuring tax and statutory legislation is adhered to
    • Managing performance through metrics and KPI’s
    • Ensuring Service Level Agreements and KPI’s are managed and adhered to
    • Ensuring Company’s commercial policies are adhered to and work to ensure that processes meet company requirements in an automated and user-friendly manner as possible
    • Responsible for the output of, and quality of services provided by the Shared Services Centre team to key customers (who include Customers, Suppliers, Employees, Senior Management, Regulatory Bodies, etc.) 
    • Motivating, developing and coaching for maximising team performance and driving the succession plan for the Shared Services Centre

    In order for your profile to match the general ledger team leader in accounting position at IMERYS, you need to have the following skills:

    • Accounting, Finance or Business Degree, CPA or MBA
    • ACCA or ACA is a plus
    • Minimum of 3 years prior similar job experience (as supervisor)
    • Previous line management/ supervisory experience
    • Previous experience of an ERP system and knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
    • Ideally experience of a Shared Services environment or at least a multi-site business
    • English : essential
    • French, German, Dutch, Finnish, Spanish or Italian is a plus
    • Strong influencing skills
    • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
    • Strong team player
    • Strong leadership
    • Time management, planning and organisation
