As a compliance senior specialist at Nexi Group your responsibilities will include:

• Analysis of newly issued regulations and their impact on the company's strategies, processes and procedures;
• Regulatory updating with particular reference to the regulations pertaining to the Compliance & AML Function (e.g. GDPR, Transparency, Payment Services, primary and secondary regulations connected to Payment Services, etc.);
• Verification and monitoring of internal procedures for compliance aspects;
• Assessment aimed at identifying any deviations from the existing legislation on compliance issues and at developing and implementing an adjustment plan with respect to the gaps that emerge;
• Issue of opinions and advice on compliance matters;
• Review, for compliance aspects, of contracts relating to the services offered by the company
• Support in the preparation of periodic reports on the activities carried out in favor of the Company's Top Management and Bodies, the Corporate Bodies and the Parent Company
• Management of the "Privacy by design" process and management of the Registers of Processing Activities; Management of other processes related to data protection matters (e.g. DPIA, data breach analysis and notification, GDPR training);
• Manage multiple requests for information and handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner in a fast paced deadline driven environment.

In order for your profile to match the compliance senior specialist position at Nexi Group, you need to have the following skills:

• Bachelor's or/and Master's degree in Business, Finance or/and Law;
• with legal or strong Regulatory Advisory or Regulatory Consulting background gained at a top tier wholesale bank or major consultancy firm (Previous experience of at least 3 years in Compliance or Internal Audit at companies in the banking sector, payment services companies or in consultancy companies specialized in supporting Compliance); Strong knowledge of EU and local data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR, Greek Law 4624/2019);
• Good knowledge of the regulations relating to the payment services sector (Transparency, PSD2, …… ..);
• Good knowledge of the products and services issued by Payment Institutions and ELMI as well as of the related processes with the ability to analyze the operating practices of the regulatory provisions;
• Knowledge of the main office automation software;
• Expert analytical skills with experience in researching, collecting, analysing, and synthesising information on various subjects with attention to detail;
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and presentation) skills and organisational abilities are essential, with an ability to liaise professionally and with diplomacy across all levels of staff in clear and succinct manner;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Italian language will be considered as an asset);
• A team player that actively looks to partner with and support team members with workloads and challenges;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
