αρμοδιότητες

As a Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage current business with existing customers and grow market share
  • Improve sales margins, prospect for new business in retail, foodservice and support distribution growth
  • Proactively support the sales organization for additional opportunities outside the existing customer base
  • Act as the local customers’ voice to ensure customer satisfaction and continuity of business relationship
  • Build strong relationships with influential people within region in order to develop a strategic plan for the region and be accountable for its execution
  • Develop a strong network of contacts within manufacturer teams
  • Support day to day business in the region and pro-actively support the sales team, distributors and customers
  • Inform the sales team and customers about trends, to support purchasing strategies of the local targets
  • Understand end-user market, capability and position in order to contribute to the business development plan per customer
  • Be responsible for indirect management of local distribution sales teams
  • Develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Act as the business plan warrant with the distributor’s portfolio (achieve the quantitative and qualitative objectives)
  • Recruit new Key Accounts and maintain a close relationship with local professional (Food service or retail) institutions
  • Investigate and respond in a timely positive way to distributor & supplier inquiries

προσόντα

The ideal candidate for the position of Business Development Manager will be expected to possess the following:

  • 3+ years of sales/business development experience in a similar position within the greek market with a proven track record  in the food service sector
  • University degree in Business Administration or any commerce related field; MSc will be highly appreciated
  • Fluency in business level English; knowledge of professional French will be a plus
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to travel regularly
