    As a Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:

    • Ensure profitable growth in each segment of the marketplace, in line with corporate guidelines
    • Propose the strategy and the approach in each segment assigned
    • Handle the global key accounts in respect to the corporate contracts with OEMs, ensuring that the maximum effect for the company is attained
    • Assess the opportunities arise in the segments assigned and propose the way forward
    • Report to line manager about each months activities and yearly plan evolution
    • Include cost reduction policy in everyday life
    • Follow the Budget and strategy defined by the management in terms of volume, margin and DSO performance
    • Contribution to stock forecasting N+3 months needs
    • Follow up market mapping and recording of the activity via software tools of the group
    • Respect the corporate code of ethics, the European and Greek legislation and ensure that safety and legitimacy comes first 
    • Strong cooperation with sales professionals for the businesses involved
    • Collaboration with Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Technical and Automotive sales departments according to all duties
    • Collaboration with business developers and technical specialists located in abroad in order to support the development
    • Participate in meetings and working teams within the Greek entity and the other European entities
    • Share best practices used and/or developed accordingly within the Greek entity and the other European entities
    • Exploring and develop new businesses in Greece and manage a large number of customers
    • Driving the business development in each industrial segment, defining opportunities
    • Represent the company and/or corporation in meetings, expositions of the appropriate level
    • Timely collection of funds


    The ideal candidate for the position of Business Development Manager will be expected to possess the following:

    • 3-5 years of experience in Lubricants sales or in industrial/chemical products or in Mechanics sales
    • University degree in Mechanics; Masters degree will highly taken into consideration
    • Experience in sales and or as a Key Account Manager
    • Fluent English and Greek; written and spoken
    • Communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
    • Ability to analyze data and situations, to organize planning and strategy
    • Ability to travel, to be self-driven with a team spirit
