As an Area Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Generation of complex quotations (upgrading, spares, service), feasibility studies, service contracts according to the pricing policy and strategy of the company
  • Negotiations of orders
  • Identification, implementation and follow up of the sales activities that are necessary for the achievement of the determined targets 
  • Business development 
  • Development and support of the sales channels according to the sales plan 
  • Promotion of the products and services directly or through sales channels and exhibitions.
  • Development and strenghtening of business relationships with customers, agents, distributors.
  • Current business portfolio is 1M€ with the potential of growth 
  • Main markets: food, olive oil, waster water treatment plant, refinery, refrigeration


The ideal candidate for the position of an Area Sales Manager will be expected to possess the following:

  • The profile must have a solid background of sales of value-added services, better if it comes from the industrial, multinational or “ sales service" network
  • As a sales profile must highlight a strong attitude to interpersonal relationships and the ability to manage a network of customers / partners (sales channel), activities will be shared monthly with his/her manager
  • Business development attitude and scouting of new customer in the territory is a must
  • Willingness to travel with a considerable frequency in the Greek territory, as well as twice visits to the company's headquarter abroad and about a week per year for courses at various locations in Europe
  • The candidate will be based in Athens and will be required to have a considerable predisposition to work independently and a planning of activities shared with his/her manager in a "remote" way, with capabilities to identify priorities and follow up the opportunities.
