As an accountant in this company, your responsibilities will include:

• Perform regular bookkeeping activities in accordance with Greek GAAP
• Prepare the Fixed Assets Register on a monthly basis
• Prepare the monthly trial balance as well as the closing journal entries
• Prepare and file various corporate tax returns (VAT, CIT, Withholding Taxes) along with any other tax-related submissions
• Manage monthly reconciliations and filings for MyData online platform
• Prepare the statutory financial statements under Greek GAAP
• Produce accurate and reliable statutory and management reports, as requested
• Apply corporate policies and procedures and coordinate effectively with the engaged
• ax experts
• Mitigate any risks that may arise from accounting and tax compliance exposure
• Provide advice on statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements.

As the ideal candidate for this accountant position, you should possess:

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
• MSc and/or professional qualifications will be considered an advantage
• 2 - 5  years of professional experience in a relevant position, handling accounting and tax compliance responsibilities
• Proven knowledge of local GAAP (Greek Accounting Standards)
• Solid understanding of Tax and Accounting legislation
• Strong familiarity with Accounting,Reporting ERP packages will be considered an asset
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
