As an Account Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Understand customers' business needs and market trends
  • Own & drive the tender process within the sector with all relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain contacts with the customers in relation to tenders, contracts and other business offers
  • Work closely with relevant departments in serving niche accounts, developing existing business relationships and targeting new clientele
  • Cooperate with other departments and personnel/offices as per internal policies/procedures and legal requirements
  • Preparation, coordination and follow-up of general customer contracts according to company policy
  • Coordination of signatures and documenting contracts in appropriate systems and databases
  • Tracking and managing the validity of contracts and tenders
  • Managing and growing new and existing Key Account customers
  • Build & maintain relationship with the customer on a strategic & operational level
  • Gather, listen and analyze the business challenges of the customers and develop compelling solutions
  • Drive growth targets by managing a healthy pipeline and proactive thinking
  • Ensure there is a common understanding of service expectations and solutions, both with customers and products
  • Establish and monitor monthly customer KPI analysis & reports
  • Constantly build market & customer intelligence in the respective sector
  • Achieve company targets


The ideal candidate for the position of the Account Manager will be expected to possess the following:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in Account Management within the freight forwarding industry
  • Working experience in Operations Department will be a significant advantage
  • Knowledge of tendering requirements in the logistics industry; experience in similar position will be an asset
  • University degree in Business Logistics / Supply Chain or relevant field
  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Very good P/C handling knowledge (Excel, Word & Internet)
  • Completed military service
  • Strong communication, selling & influencing skills
  • Ability to negotiate and understanding of customer needs
  • Determination, taking initiatives, innovative thinking and team spirit
  • Commitment to excellence and pressure resistance
  • Ability to handle numbers and analytical thinking
  • Ability to travel
  • Result & quality oriented
