Randstad is:
The leading HR service provider company in the world with over 4.195 offices in more than 40 countries. Locally, in Greece, we have been operating for more than 12 years. We help companies find the right talent to take their businesses further and employees their next career opportunity.
We began operations in Greece because:
We found there was a need for a wide spectrum of HR services in a dynamic and developing market like Greece. People are literally the core asset, source of growth and success for companies. We provide value, quality and flexibility as well as personalised and tailored services to our clients. We know that recruiting staff, either permanent or temporary can be time consuming and costly exercise. In addition to our recruitment services, we also offer other HR services including Outplacment, Payrolling, Coaching and assessment services.
I would describe the current employment market:
The reality is although the current employment market in Greece is challenging, there is opportunity as it is human nature for people to come and go and as such job opportunities will arise. At the same time employers still need to retain and engage their employees now more than ever.Hard work, patience and flexibility are needed during these times by all. Times of change are times of opportunity.
Our role in a deep crisis becomes:
All the more crucial. As a company committed to shaping the world of work, Randstad services can contribute in a positive way to society in these challenging times. We can support to guide businesses on building a successful HR strategy that can capitalise on a new and promising employment scene. Flexible work provided by Randstad can play a large role in the employment market. It benefits employers by enabling them to bring in staff with skills they need quickly, easily and for the time they need them. Employees also benefit from the new job options they have with adding work experience, attaining more skills and of course earning an income to mention some benefits.
For us a good employee means:
A person who always displays qualities such as dependability, accountable responsible, takes initiative, a positive attitude towards their job, ability to get along well with others, flexible and ambitious.A great employee has all the qualities of a good employee but takes the qualities and responsibilities to the next level.
I have this phrase in my mind at all times:
“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget what you did”
